Glee[Q] show choir competition - We want YOU to perform!

| Players’ Theatre and Queer McGill invite you to participate in the first ever Glee[Q] Show Choir Competition, to be held at Player's Theatre on Saturday, March 20, 2010.
Think you can sing and dance like the kids in Glee? Then get together your very own show choir, and start practicing! The competition will be held on March 20, as an exciting new event during Player's Theatre's McGill Drama Festival. There will be two categories: Lip-Syncing and Full Vocals; so, even if you can't (or won't) sing, you still have a chance to showcase your moves and energy. Judging criteria will be based on Vocal Quality (only for Full-Vocals category), Choreography and Dancing, Stage Presence (charisma/energy) and Presentation (costumes/props). There will even be a People's Choice award based on popular vote, so don't forget to get your friends to come support you! So don't wait any longer – call up 4 to 16 of your friends, and start practicing your dance moves. Registration opens on March 8 and closes on March 12; in the event that the spaces fill up, we will be allowing participation on a first-come basis. So make sure you drop it off at either Player's Theatre's office on the 3rd floor of Shatner or in the Queer McGill office in 432 Shatner. We will collect completed registration forms between March 8 and March 12 in either the Queer McGill office (432 Shatner) or the Players' Theatre office (309 Shatner). Drop-off Hours: Players: Mon - 1 pm to 3 pm, Tues - 1130 am to 1230 pm and 3pm to 5 pm, Weds - 10am to 2 pm, Thurs - 1130 am to 1 pm and Fri from 11 am to 3 pm.
