About

Queer McGill is one of Canada’s oldest and most active LGBTQ2IA+ student organizations, dedicated to serving, empowering, and celebrating queer and trans students at McGill University and across Montreal. Our mission is to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions can feel safe, respected, and valued.

As a student-run collective, Queer McGill provides resources, peer support, advocacy, and engaging programming aimed at uplifting the voices and experiences of queer communities. We host events ranging from educational workshops and panel discussions to social gatherings, art showcases, and pride celebrations—creating a vibrant and affirming space for connection and activism.

We work in solidarity with other student and community organizations to challenge oppression, combat discrimination, and promote equity, both on campus and beyond. Whether you’re looking to find your community, access support, or get involved in advocacy, Queer McGill is here for you.

Join us as we continue to create change, build community, and celebrate queer joy—because everyone deserves a place where they can truly be themselves.
